What better way to celebrate finding a really sweet planet then teleporting back to your ship for a glass of your finest bubbly?

 

Well, there were supposed to be other object to explore in space besides planets. I guess that's one of those.
Although it would be nice to be able to build your own totally from scratch.

Anyways, Seeing that image makes me think it would be possible to eventually upgrade your spaceship to a space station. I mean, how awesome would that be?

 

In the latest update Kyren said Tiy was working on a new ship design that may or may not make it in......could possibly be something like that.

It might even be a capital class ship

 

Space restaurants?
...I want one. Even if I have to slit the captain's throat and start a massive kidnapping, I WANT THIS.

Maybe they are reintroducing space stations but as a place the player can visit and purchase stuff but not actually own. I think of something along the style of the Citadel in Mass Effect. It's a "neutral" ground for all species to come to and trade items and tech and such, for cash of course.

I think its probably a vendor of some sort. They did mention having shops and stuff and we haven't really seen any shops in towns or anything so maybe they have theyre own station things . Though i guess it could also be a massive upgrade to a ship.
