I've become a hopeful fanboy/fangirl/both/fan-it!

 

Basically this. I haven't exited out of this site's tab since I first learned of Starbound.

 

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. That's because I know when the wait should end lol.

 

Nope. Nothing, just waiting for the estimated time that they said it should be released by, being the end of summer.

 

I've been able to start in a career field in the animation field, I've donated my kidney to the neighborhood homeless man, I've started the foundation for semi-abused animals, I've won the lottery twice, I've given 100 million dollars to charities everywhere, I've met the first known sasquatch every seen, have to say he was a nice guy; I landed the first probe to ever be on mercury, I met a hostile alien civilization and turned them friendly, I beat the president at basketball, and I bioengineered the first dragon in existence.

Or... you know... I'm just doing work and playing other games, whichever works.

 

I have been actually more calmer than I thought, the first days I went like crazy, I told all my friends about it (both irl and those on the internet) and have been spending every day since then on the starbound irc. Though now its just like "I know its going to be a great game, so I won't tire myself out for the game and just patiently await its release." What kind of ruined Terraria for me was that I watched almost every LP of it and even read the wiki every 2 seconds. I have always been like that though, since I was 12 I was even reading the whole game manual after buying it in the store on my way home. When I started playing the games I didn't even need the tutorial.

But I'm patiently waiting... and waiting.... waiting.... oh ever so waiting.... waiting................................................................................. IS IT RELEASED YET!?!

OT: It's been keeping me busy on these forums, it's quite fun here. I'm even thinking of becoming a mod... <.<

 

I make sure that the village sacrifices virgins to me every week to please me and prevent my impatient wrath.

 

well... i use space-textures and sounds on terraria!

 

I do say! Once I seen the preview videos for the lighting and the section about combat. I was... I was... Lets just say I washed my previous thoughts with soap and beaten.
I signed up on the forums probably 5 mins later and been around here and there! I'm predicting though that I will not sleep till this game is out!

playing terraria

 

On the first day my face got exposed to too much radioactivity and my eyes melted almost instantly. The following days went eventless until my limbs started rotting and my skin getting too dry and start cracking.

 

Starbound isnt the only game comming out ( or is out ). I have been patiently waiting. Biding my time with Terraria (and introducing new people to it that i meet). I also spend my time with Mass Effect 3's multiplayer and some WoW. Mount and Blade here and there too! (Warband, not With Fire and Sword. Blech).

Though between waiting for this, planetside 2, and guildwars 2... argh! The waiting sucks!
Feels like waiting for Darkfall again
