What is Starbound made in?

People have been saying that StarBound is made in Game Maker, but its written in C++. What do the developers use to make this amazing game?!?!

 

They use C++ and created their own custom engine and assets. It most certainly was not created with Game Maker.

All anyone has to do is watch Bart or Omni stream their coding sessions to learn the facts.

You're welcome. If you go to http://starbounder.org/Main_Page you'll see links on the right side to all the "official" streams. They use Twitch for streaming and if someone is streaming the link there will go green and "online".

Best thing to do is create a Twitch account and then follow each of the stream accounts. When they go live you'll get an email notification from Twitch, usually about 30 minutes after the stream goes live, Twitch is a little flaky at times when it comes to notifications.

Also, you can follow the official Reddit subgroup for Starbound (/r/starbound) and I recall that one of the redditors has a bot that posts the notice when someone is streaming.
