You're still being vague, ElGato. If you'd just expound a little so we don't have to keep asking....

Anyway, my understanding is you can get brains from the Brain Extractor, crafted at the Metalwork Station

Yeah, you can use the Brain Extractor to kill a couple of monsters and get a superior brain. After that you only need about 100 steel bars and 2000 pixels to craft the Inactive Robot (crafted at the metalwork station) . I just activated the robot having no idea what it was, though he wanted to be my friend. Boy was a wrong, he zaped me, I died and he disappeared. So if you don't wanna waste a lot of steel bars be prepared to fight.

Just to be considerate of those that don't want to know parts of the game before they get to them, I have enclosed my response in spoiler tags.

I got the Processor as well. In order to get it you must craft the Metalwork Station (which requires you to have beaten the first boss to get the Molten Core.
From there you must craft enough Steel using the Metalwork Station to first make the Brain Extractor.
From there you roam about killing creatures with it, that spawns either Inferior brains, or Superior brains.
I don't know what to do with the inferior ones but with the superior brain it allows you to craft the Artificial Brain which requires:
    • 1x Superior Brain
    • 400x Pixels
    • 20x Steel Bars
Once you make the Artificial Brain you can then complete the Robot. You must craft the Inactive Robot which requires:
    • 1x Robot Arms (400 Pixels, 15 Steel Bars)
    • 1x Robot Legs (400 Pixels, 15 Steel Bars)
    • 1x Robot Chest (400 Pixels, 30 Steel Bars)
    • 1x Robot Head (1 Artificial Brain, 20 Steel Bars, 400 Pixels)
    • 50x Pixels
    • 5 Steel Bars
Once you make the Inactive Robot, go to a place with open space and you can place the Robot like any ordinary object. When I started it the first time it immediately killed me, upon interacting with it. I'm assuming I just wasn't strong enough to survive the action. Be warned, it is a level 20 monster and will kill you if you aren't prepared. Once spawned it will not attack you, it will just roam about with its poor AI. Once you do hit it though it becomes aggressive towards you and as I said before, it is extremely powerful. Other hostile mobs towards you will not attack it and they will all gang up on you. Once (and if) you manage to defeat it, it will drop 1x Processor as stated above by the original poster. I do not know what it does though. Can someone provide a link towards its usage?

Also I have legitimately defeated it with no cheats, I will admit though I did defeat it cheaply, it got caught on a few blocks and couldn't move and to ensure it, I built an enclose of blocks around it so that it would not move, nor could its attacks reach me. I was able to defeat it with a little over 300 hits from my 2-Handed hammer (6 Armor Penetration, Lightning Attribute, 0.71 Swing Speed, and 47 Damage per swing). It took a little bit of just hitting it.

    EDIT:

I didn't notice that there was a recipe added, which is the Robotic Crafting Table which requires:

    • 600x Pixels
    • 20x Steel Bars
    • 1x Processor
    • 1x Wooden Crafting Table
The Robotic Crafting Table, enables you to craft an additional upgrade to your ship, allowing you to explore the Gamma Section. I still have not yet even explored the Beta due to how high the levels are, but I'm interested in seeing creature above level 30.

The "Robot Crafting Table" is an upgraded "Crafting Table" (It can craft all previous patterns that the crafting table could)

It can be crafted using the metalwork station under the "Hammer" or "Chair" filters at the bottom (I had trouble finding it surprisingly >.<)
the item in game is also a bit taller than the crafting table is so you might find it harder to fit it somewhere in your ship than the crafting table.

    *Trivia*
The "Robotic Crafting Table" is not named this because it can craft robots or robotics, it's because it is a half robot half crafting table basically :)
    That Being Said...

Did we really just zap creatures for the perfect brain for ages to make a masterful robot of death that we smashed for fun and took one of the circuits we built in to it, out of it again to condemn said robot to life as a crafting table? Or did we have to destroy the robot which fused all of the items perfectly so that it created the processor... hmmm....

Let me clarify, you kill random mobs with a gun called the brain extractor, you ca neither get a superior brain(rarely) or an inferior brain, which has no use.
Then you craft a robot, and so on and so forth.
It one hit me almost immediately btw

Yeah.... It does that... It uses a series of attacks such as charge, body slam and some flame attack of doom, After the re-balance that Tiy said should be coming soon boss fights should be more of a battle than a slaughter :p

What in the world were you doing fighting him with a Tier 1 weapon? I used some steel to craft an AP15 sword before I ever left the Alpha sector.
