Feedback What is going on with the new site?

The new forum is painful but at least you can change that. Can you change the main site? It's terrible. I looked up and down and can't find the modding database. What was wrong with the old format? The news was right there in the middle at the top and now you have to scroll down to see any info, and I didn't see anything but stuff you might want to know about the game before a purchase. No news, no modding database, just one big fat Starbound banner that takes up the entire screen. It looks bad.

Are you not able to see the top navigation? The site should look like this:



Leading into 1.0 and console releases, we realized that the front page of our website should be more appealing and informative to people who aren't familiar with Starbound and want to know more about it. On the old site, you were taken straight to the blog which was full of information that's probably less relevant to first-time visitors.

There's a lot to show off in Starbound, so we thought that one of the best ways we could go about it was to recreate an interactive scene from the game!

The modding database and blog are still there, of course!
The modding database can be found via the forums (http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/), but I think I'm going to find another place to add a button for it, just to make it more obvious.
The blog can now be found here (http://playstarbound.com/blog/) and there is a link to it in the top navigation. I'd suggest bookmarking http://playstarbound.com/blog/ so you can just skip past the big banner next time.
