What is/are the first thing(s) you are going to do on Starbound?

I would yell "SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE" at the top of my lungs.
Edit: Then build a factory to dominate the universe's economies.

I will figure out how to fly a ship.
Then I will build a space court.

"I give up. I'll stick with my SMALL WOODEN HOUSE!"

 

I would conquer a planet then try to turn it into a city planet.

 

I will go crazy and explore everything, then die about 5 minutes later by a small green gelatinous blob.

 

Stare at the title screen.

 

In order ::
Check the character-creation screen for Terraria's gender-change grunts/gasps (always good for a cheap laugh).
Start new game, get to space-station.
go to planet, swatting away tutorial like its Navi from Legend of Zelda.
fall into a bottomless hole only slightly wider than my character, land with barely any life left on a small ledge- the surrounding blocks/walls are made out of a material that my starting gear cannot break.
Just stand there... and wait... eventually I will jump further down the pit. and lose my first "Permanent Death" character without gathering any swag at all.

 

I will rebuild Taris and then destroy Coruscant (they've had it too good for too long)

 

Wait is there long to be an option for permanent death? Or is it just going to be like what you had to do in Minecraft before a hardcore; you just delete the character after it dies.

the Sith Council just sent out a message from the Scouting Team.
we've confirmed where the remains of all the previous Sith forces to attack Coruscant have gone...
The Jedi Temple is constructed near exclusively out of their bones.
Coruscant pending strategy change to "Embargo/Disrupt_Trade_Routes". we can't risk a direct attack with our numbers as they are.

 

Creating a character.

 

Hardcore Characters are always rewarding as long as they are optional
the developers have no reason not to include a "Hardmode" check-box or yes-no slider in the character selection screen.
none of that means that I know what the Developers are planning that they haven't announced

 

Okay. I just wasn't sure.

 

Here is the question? What is the first thing you are going to do when you get Starbound? I personally, am going to establish a base of operations in a cluster of stars so I can quickly explore a large amount of planets. Then, I'm going to load up that base with as many NPCs as I can find and then build a mech and stomp on critters! What are YOU going to do??

 

good idea, I will find an ice planet, then rescue npcs and get a pet penguin.

first of all, i'm going to install the game. Maybe if you included that, i would make a new character. It is the only possible first answer, unless you decide to hack a game or umm, maybe making a new world?

 

why do these threads keep popping up? just go to one of those really :/
