What Instrument Will You Play?

"Instrument? Pardon me? I'm gonna use gunz and hammrz and swowrds!", Is probably what you're thinking.

However, due to the video that Tiy has posted today, it appears as though you can play instruments in a very cool fashion! Click here to see the post.
So, I was thinking that someone would definitely make some sort of band with this system.
Anyway, if you are going to use an instrument to make some... hopefully... epic music, which would it be? An explosive trumpet, a proud violin, a striking guitar, an elegant piano, or a booming drum? Or multiple, or none?
I know my hardened Hylotl warrior would probably use a guitar, or perhaps a violin of sorts!
What will you use, if any? You can pick multiple choices, as you may choose to play multiple. I will personally only specialize in one, or perhaps two, but that's it.

Also, I was thinking of something else while typing this: What if there are racial instruments? Would the Hylotl violin sound like the Avian violin, which would sound like the Floran? I would imagine they would at least look different, if they were implemented.
I dunno, I just think it would be neat-o if there were some sort of racial instruments. Maybe the races have an exclusive instrument? For example, the Hylotl can have a harp, and the Humans can have a... tuba?
We also know there are electric guitars.
Just sayin'.

Violin. Not even a thought or debate over it. I have one, took lessons for a little while, but my arm refused to get comfortable in that awkward position. Still would love to get back into it though.

But all that aside, violin is the most bad ass instrument ever and none can argue otherwise. Don't bother trying, it'll just get messy. But if you really are looking for proof, Just look up Samvel Yervinyan. The one i like best is Dueling Violins by him and Ann-Marie Calhoun. It's a yani concert, but the violins man... The violins...

Serious answer: I dunno. I do kind of like violins, but I think a guitar matches my personality a bit. Maybe even a bass guitar.

 

Oh, or a theramin if they have one. That's pretty spacey =]

Though... to start with, maybe a Drum. I suck at Music, so maybe I can just Bam a Drum cause even an idiot like me can do that right.

I am very musically dis-inclined. I can't hot cross buns my way out of a wet paper bag.

 

If starbounds abc notation is compatible with the lotro abc, i already have a billion songs to play. Yaaaaaaay.

 

I think I will stick with a flute or ocarina, that type of thing.



Definitely want to use a pan flute in the game, they are awesome.

I hope they make it so you can record your music and have it wired up to play when people enter a room or something.......
