A hypothetical question since i'm bored right now. So, we plant fruits/vegetables, we wine/jar/leave-as-is our products in order to ship them and overnight we get money for it. But what happens to those products AFTER this process ends? What do you suppose Lewis does with this stuff after the fact?
I'm assuming he sells it off to shops who then sells the products to consumers. Pierre and/or Joja Corp probably gets most of it. It is of course also possible that he sells it off to factories to have it processed and then sold to consumers elsewhere in the country. So if you want to make sure your products are sold fresh to consumers, sell it directly to Pierre
You know, I've never really thought about it. lol But I think I have to agree with Minimanta, Lewis probably loads everything into the bed of his truck and hauls it off to other places.
. Obviously Lewis sends these products along with a virgin from Zuzu city as a sacrifice for the dark lord Satan. In return the shadow brutes won't emerge from the depths of the mines and dismember every villager. All hail Lucifer!
I'm assuming (and this is just my headcanon) He sells some to pierre, some to Gus, and then sends the rest off to ZuZu city.
Have you seen the place his truck's in? There's no way he's getting it out of that gap; it must've been parked there before the house was built
Eh, scale is funny and cartoonish in the game. The Stardrop Tavern is tiny on the outside, but then, you go into it and it's huge. From what Lewis says, he's somehow getting that truck in and out of that lot every night to pick up your stuff. (For a guy that age he can really hustle, I'll give him that.) Perhaps it's amphibious.
It's obvious: Lewis is secretly hoarding all of the supplies for the inevitable end of civilization caused by JoJa Corp.
With each product that you ship to him, he's slowly (but surely) assembling a potion that will grant him eternal youth. We don't see it, but he actually has a big f*** off cauldron just below his house. A wizard's wet dream basically.
One thing I always thought would be cool to do in this game is to have a contract with some sort of a shipping company or just have a shop. Having to grow something others might need, and not just what gives more money, seems like a really good task.
I always assume that Lewis takes care of the contracts to the shipping company (Or maybe Lewis runs Stardew Valley's only shipping company?) and sells the stuff he collected from me, Marnie and Willy to the cities. Then Gus and Joja bought it back for inflated price, which was why the items in Joja was more expensive, and Gus's pizza cost almost the same as one diamond... Having played HM Grand Bazaar and Wonderful Life soured me on the idea of selling your produce in your own shop, since it took up a lot of time and felt pretty monotonous due to the shop mechanic that waited for people to come to your stall. Perhaps if done right it could be good, but I imagine selling 500+ blueberries on my own shop will take a pretty long time if the consumer was only Stardew Valley residents.
There's always the possibility that George is using Alex to build an underground bunker in preparation for some nuclear holocaust caused by Jojo Cola, and he's doing most of the purchasing these days. Presumably, paying with rocks, which Jojo drops down into the mines--with what results, we know. Look, it's less far-fetched than feeding everything to Jaz, who is actually an archfiend from the 150th level of hell, to spare the town. Well, she is, but I don't think she's buying all the food.
