What features are you most excited about?

Also just remembered, I'm pretty pumped for automatic slopes too.

Definitely the universal exploration. It's something we havent seen since Spore and I'm glad to see it back.
The randomly generated quests come in a close second.

 

I'm looking forward to the customization, and the fact that every world will be different.

The sole fact the game is something I dreamt about as Minecraft's sequel at the first place, but devs can read my mind spiced it up and made it better.
More specifically, procedural generation of items and monsters. I gotta catch 'em all! Also, mob mutation (combing two creatures into one) - FLYING PENGUINS, PEOPLE!

 

Combat. I thought Terraria's combat was a bit lacking in melee, so I hope this does better. And exploration, you just gotta love exploring mob-infested regions of space.

 

Simple things as... exploring with mah bros... Building two forts.. of snow... and snowball fight (my dream was to do that on terraria but... yeah). But the whole idea of limitless of the game, and how it does that, it amazes me.

 

From whateverwe see so far, Space Hobos seem awesome. give them some Cash and you'll win the space lottery or something. If you don't than your space ship gets hit by an astroid.

 

I'm most excited about... *gestures at all of Starbound* This.

 

I love the exploration theme. Plus terraforming and the Co-op looks like it's gonna be really fun this time around, especially with the mounts and the ability to explore new planets all the time.

 

Honestly I cant wait for the building. I like to make machines and urban cities, Terraria didn't have alot of that...

I am an adventure/collector myself and sometimes love to build sorry excuses for stuff. lol So I am really looking forward to the randomly generated stuff and the idea of endless quests and things to collect. I will have no life until I got everything cataloged!

 

The vast universe and it's exploration will be great, just like updating the space station, then there's the homeworld, NPCs, quests ... holy hell, so far everything the devs have made public has quite the appeal!

 

I can't wait for the vast emptiness of SPAAAAAAACE.

 

The vastness of it. Your starbase, your home planet, all the planets for missions and quests.
