What features are still yet to be implemented? What would you like to see?

    1. Scanning a system for resource rich asteroids. we beam down to it and have to dig as much as we can before it leaves orbit, and we have to beam back to our ship. It could be like a little jackpot. The asteroid scanner could cost pixels to use, and its not always a garaunteed find. *could also find abandoned space stations, wrecks on occasion too ....*dooder39

    2.Faction wars on a planet. nothing too complex, just two races fighting at random times. Give us an opportunity to choose sides through simple quest ( ex. destroy this settlement, help us get resources to build this tech, make us 10 bows,) Winning faction takes over planet (whichever side we complete 10 quest for first) and we get access to their tech.

    3. Intergalactic bounty hunters...to curb those genocidal tendencies. If a player goes around killing neutral races for fun, eventually level equivalent bounty hunters come after them. Defeat a cadre of bounty hunters for sweet rare bounty hunter loot....or pay each of them off, or die enough times to get them off your back (they'll steal and extra %of pixels for their bounty if they kill you). This makes the bounty system both a reward and punishment. Some of us like to be bad and destroy, but we should at least be tough enough to deal with the consequences (and get great bounty hunter gear in the process if we are)

    4. Simple trade amongst developed civs.Nothing complex, but a simple rock,paper, scissors style trading between villages. The Apex will make something the Avian values, The Avian makes something the humans value, etc. Doesnt have to be OP, but profitable enough that we can roleplay as a trader. We go to a shop stock up on whatever nondescript trade item, and leave it on our ship until we find the next civ. Can also replace pixel compression.

    5.Sorry, but yes- i want a zombie planet. Maybe the planet could spawn a quest to summon a boss, that we can defeat to revert its population back to normal. Defeating the boss earns us a cool zombie tech, or we could continue to farm the zombies because their bodies drop coal or something valuable (we need quest that help us make our choices matter and give us a chance to be good or evil)

    6. A zoo quest. We can either make a zoo (like we make villages in Terraria) or receive a quest from an NPC with a ready made zoo. Our quest is to simply capture a variety of creatures with various attributes. 1 fire breathing creature, 1 creature with more than 2 eyes, a creature with a shell, etc. Give us even more reason to visit certain planets in hopes of finding that certain creature. (this would work even better when biomes have creatures that favor certain traits)

    ...i have more. I try to think of things that should be easily implemented ,or hopefully modded in, given the game we have right now. Nothing too game changing.

    Few of the things I lack I've mentioned in my longish thread, some are already among the suggestions. I can only hope that devs, despite all the work they already have, will regularly check on threads that show up to fairly sum up the opinions and progress with development in right direction. Other than that I need optimalization - which is already being worked on actively - and more explanation/fluff for stuff that currently makes no sense (but again, that I already addressed in the linked thread).

    5. Also really cool. Planets with varying level of horde difficulties and maybe you have to kill x number of zombies before spawning the miniboss, kind of an arena style mission.

    My wishlist:

    Solid quest lines for beginning, mid and end game.

    A boss for every planet with appropriate loot. I shudder to think of what random treasure chest i passed up that had game breaking weapons.

    A reputation system with the different races loving or hating each other. All these races, all these planets? Galactic warfare is not a solution, its the only answer.

    Up-gradable ships.

    A way to deconstruct all the random garbage I collect. That or a way to sell it.

    racial abilities.

    Housing and benefits for setting up housing. Creating a certain room comes with a certain bonus.

    Tier system overhaul.

    A pet system that starts during beginning game.

    Along with racial abilities, I want housing materials appropriate for the different races. Apex need tree houses. Avian pyramids,. Florans build shroom homes. Hylotl and their underwater domes of glass.......you get the picture. Not every race should be building houses made of dirt, wood and stone.

    A consequence system. Let me raid a city then let that race be a nuisance till the end of time.

    Upgradable weapons and preferred weapons for the different races.

    Sorry, but what exactly do you mean by this, there are billions of procedurally generated worlds as they game stands.

    Name planets I have visited or at least some bookmarking of each place iv been to.

    Full key mapping wasd hurts my right hand trying to hit space to jump.

    Difficulty settings and a Hardcore mode,

    For the meantime, I think that you're supposed to be using your left thumb to hit the spacebar when you're using WSAD controls, your right hand shouldn't be leaving your mouse unless you're typing something.

    I would love for them to implement "long-term-motivation". Its a great but sadly underrated feature.

    Home bases that give passive bonuses to the planet we're on. If i build a base with an infirmary, i get a passive health regen on planet. A kitchen gives a bonus to food, maybe add +HP to meals. A workshop +mining speed. A lab gives resistances, a bedroom gives a spawn point, etc.

    This could motivate us to set up a base on our current planet.

    I will suggest some global ideas.
    1) Ability to build new ships. (Cruisers, Battleships,Motherships (like in EVE)) Next tiers are bigger.
    2) Space trade hubs in both multi and single player. With lots of traders of different races.
    3) Some background for RPG. For example , pick Human you can pick some additional perks. Kind like classes.
    Example:
    Soldier background." You was Human soldier before war and you was one of last survivors on earth. You have 20% more health, but you need 2x more food to stay strong.
    Survivor background. You lived in Human cololny on lce planet since bitrh and you can survive in harsh environment. You get 30% more of heat from armor. Cold effects are significantly lower. (white screen and health ticking). But you have less energy regen speed.
    Hi-Tech background. You have your way with computers. You find path between stars so you spend 20% less fuel. You keep tech blueprints after finding them. On the other hand you cant stand pickaxes so they broke faster.
    And each race can have their own backgrounds. It will add some difference to both early, and late game.
    4) Ability to "enchant" your armor and guns. For example kinda like techs but for armor.
    5) Clans, Guilds, more PRG staff.

    Not the solar systems, the quadrants Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, X Sector. More of those.

    Right now they have everything 5 through 10 crammed into X Sector.

    Too many things to list, both that I want AND that I know are already on the to-do list.

    I want more interaction with NPCs...more than just fighting/selling/ or saying a random phrase.

    The number 1 thing I want is to be able to expand my ship. I also hope that it isn't just copy pasting the same dimensions of the current main room and attaching it (as seen in old prototypes).

    I think it would be cool to be able to pick and choose different size rooms to attach to the ships, make the the craft itself, not just what it contains, a reflection of who you are as a player.

    Number 2 is implementing gravity scaling based on the size of the planet you are on.

    Wormholes, a way to cut down the fuel costs for moving within a sector.

    Agree with a lot of this, especially upgrading weapons. One of things i hated about borderlands was finding a very enjoyable weapon and having to give it up because its dps died out at later levels. I'd like to find a weapon that fits my playstyle and be able to upgrade it to keep up with the ascending levels.
