What factors decide the race of your first character?

When I said glow I did'nt mean light up a cave or something, but glow like 2 blocks distance or something. I wasnt expecting to never-use-flashlight or something lol.

 

I'm a roleplayer, so factors include:
Background
Culture
Cosmetic appeal
Whether or not I can immerse myself as that race.

So at the background level the Apex are rulled out.
At culture level I rule out Novakids and Avians, Novakids because I don't like cowboys and Avians because I'm not particularly interested in a overly monotheistic species.
Cosmetic appeal rules out Apex again and Hylotl.
And finally the Floran are ruled out seeing as I find it difficult to immerse myself as a plant.

So my first character will be Human and my second will be a Glitch.

 

Lore and Style/Look. I love all the lore we have, but I find the Apex utterly hideous.

 

I will be a Glitch, since I like robots and the medieval theme.

 

Definately Hylotl because i just love the ocean and i always have. Plus, making ocean people (who are already cool) have one of the coolest cultures there is is just awesome.
