In the future I imagine there will be multiple types of game modes

    e.g.
    - Creative Mode (primarily for builders, invulnerability, flight/noclip, access to all materials)
    - Hardcore Mode (die and lose everything, or uh... well)
    - Normal Mode
I guess there is a lot of things you could do with that if you apply yourself to thinking about it.

  3. Probably just a placeholder for more modes like Pyrolun said.

I really like the idea of "creative mode". Not sure how it would happen, but if it ever does, I will have one character devoted to taking apart whole worlds and rebuilding them. Library Planet? Yes, I think so.

Creative Mode always bothered me in Minecraft a bit. I used to play on a public server for the city I live in and it had both creative mode players and normal mode players, I played on normal mode because I feel like it's more rewarding when you've spent the time to find rare building materials etc, but everything you do is totally eclipsed 10,000x by ginormous (usually generic) structures made by creative-mode players out of solid gold blocks or something. I know that sounds whiny but what I'm saying is, it lessened my experience unfortunately. Maybe we could have the ability to make creative-only and normal-only servers?
