Ahh, I knew it was either that one or the other recipe she gives out that was seven hearts. Figures I'd mix 'em up, lol.
You know what would be really great? A trophy room where I can mount all those record fish I catch. Maybe add some boss monsters and make them drop trophy's too! I like trophies. :/
I want Emily to give up her buttoned collar shirt, in exchange for that dress her Sprite is wearing. Also, MOAR STORIES. I want to befriend Morris.
THISSSS- It would be cool if it was Abigail or specific NPCs as max affection, and they have their own gear etc. OR it could be your Spouse. lol and if you are married to Abigail she just has better stats cause she is a cool kid. THISSSSSSSSSSS- DANG IT. I'm am will to wait- forever. like EVER. But this is like number ONE for me. I get that maybe the kid does age, as nothing else does either. But I really want to feel more/and see them do more even if they stay a toddler, maybe give them events- getting sick, meeting chickens, discovering the basement IDK. But really I'd like to at least get them to the point of wandering around the farm. I like flowers have more uses, there are so many colors! I think that should be a thing. A tank for fish could be cool- maybe increase their * with time..? or just to show off the Legendarys like you said- could be a building! or that one in the community center. I would love to put more then paths and lights and rarecrows on my farm, but really- I'd like to be able to sit This is at the top of my list too... That center you work so hard to- go back and forth too all the time- sits abandoned. Just like that eye sore of a store. For the Store I think it would be cool it nature over takes it in say 5 years, and then you have to spruce it up into something useful too. For the Community Center maybe have each part of it be inhabited by NPCs after completion, or have working parts you can bring things to- events inside... anything OK tar and feather me.... but IRL when your spouse dies/or is gone a long time(yes I'm going there this is just a quick thought), some people love again/fall out of love and move on,(there is a divorce mechanic now). So maybe even make that part of how you interact with her family a requirement for wooing her, if you can get them to x hearts it hurts but everyone is OK with you, of if you TRY marry her and any one is below x hearts they see you as a replacement and like a good mom she choose them over you and waits till they are comfortable or something, or never gets with you at all if you ask too soon. >.> my only defense at this point is we went dark places with Shane.... now I feel dirty... I'm not sure I want jodi that bad DX I have feelings.... I feel like I'm going to regret this . On a happy note I do like the idea of NPC clothes being different in rain, and in winter- and maybe the ability to give you spouse a hat or something cute... a RING gasp lol.
I think Abigail having better stats would go against the no unique spouse perk to encourage people to marry for benefit thing though.
First and foremost, I realize this post hasn't had a reply for a few weeks, but I'm gonna reply anyway! The real reason she's complaining is that she feels she was TOO YOUNG at the time, but I do get what you're saying I guess. I agree, but what about not making it a SPOUSE PERK? I still think we need a "Friendship Bracelet" sort of thing that'll give us a different 10 heart scene w/a character, but allow us to get them to 10 hearts nonetheless. With that, I also feel that once they get to 10 hearts, we should be able to have a quest with each character that gives special perks (INCLUDING the non-marriage candidates). It would give us an actual REASON to go through and get all the characters to 10 hearts, rather than just for completion's sake. This idea of Abby as a 'combat assistant' could fall under this umbrella, if it's done. ^^ I can certainly expound on that idea, if someone wants me to, haha.
yeah she feels she was too young but it's a little too late for that she is a grown woman with two kids one of which of age to be married. It's just the whole thing how long are you going to complain when you can try to make it work or claim your freedom in whichever way works for your situation she just comes off as a woman allowing her bitterness to run her life. Doesn't make it easy but just complaining doesn't help either. Would still replace her if we were able to break up the other couples in games except George and Evelyn they belong together.
1. Absolutely the most important thing this game needs is the ability to buy eggs, milk & possibly wool without needing to raise animals. The fact that Pierre's shop doesn't sell such staples as milk is udderly (heh) ridiculous; what kind of general store doesn't sell milk? Even with animals, it would help raise production of things like cheese which are used in important recipes (e.g. Pepper Poppers). 2. Silver/gold/iridium star crops should create extra seeds in the seed maker. 3. Even more stuff for the lategame (the new Witch's Hut quest was rather underwhelming IMO) -- perhaps things like exotic crops, that only show up in year 3+ and are completely random (showing up only at the traveling merchant, or maybe Sandy's) so you get different late-game crops every game. 4. Placing furniture outdoors! Especially statues, etc. 5. MOAR cutscenes! 6. MOAR quests!!
I'd like to see Iridium Shears and Iridium Milking Pails added that cut the stamina costs in half or by 3/4 for tending animals. I'd buy them for 2 million each easy.
I would like to see some more depths in conversations. You as a player do so much and there is basically no linked conversation to it. No progression while talking to the people. Your partner dont mentions thing you have done. This is for me the most important thing. I mean you still get to hear from jodi "Hey you will contribute greatly once you are done rebuilding your farm" while allready earning 100000g per day, the community centre restored by you etc etc. Furthermore add some interaction with your partner. Let me take emily on friday nights and walk home with her. In generell if i talk to my partner after like 8pm you should go to bed together, instead of her randomly waiting anywhere. More interactions like this and at least a touch of recognition in the town's people behaviour towards our character is really required to bring this game to a new level. In addition to that it would be really nice if you got some interactive chat. Why can I not ask Caroline where her Daughter is gone, she might allways know the answer but once again it would add another layer of life into the game. Why not ask a Sam what I could offer Sebastion to get into touch with him (took me forever to find something he likes in my first playthrough xD). Everything in addition to that is of course allways awesome. But is anyone telling me he really enjoys talking to people after reading the same old message from week 1 in year 3? The content will obviously allways limited but the mechanics of the game are allready well defined, in my oppinion, however the chat after year one is not.
I would simply love it if CA just kept working on this game. I heard a lot of people say this may be the last big update(content wise) and multiplayer may be the final one. I wouldn't blame him... its been his life for a very long time, he may be beyond bored of it. No idea if its true cause I never heard CA say anything of the sort (other than he felt burnt out a few months ago and meeting all those fans helped him) but yeah. I've spent close to 400 hours now in the game and I just can't get enough still.
Same. Once you reach maybe year 10 or something? You should be able to run for mayor. And I wish being mayor would open up perks like being able to rearrange the town. I sooo want to be able to do something different with the town. All that wasted empty space in places makes my OCD flare up LOL. I wish the buildings were ploppable, just place them wherever you like and arrange the town however you want to.
Battle axes and a viking helmet so that I can chug mead, devour red mushrooms and go berserk on puny shadow brutes!
I wish the Forester skills get rework. Maybe Forester now gives wood 50% more value and syrup 25% more value. Lumberjack has chance to gain hardwood and time for non-fruit trees to grow reduce by 50%. Tapper now acts like a fruit-tree, where each passing year the quality increases. The current forester and tapper has no correlation between each other.
I would really love to see some updates of the Skull Cave. In fact I believe that even in it's current state the Skull Cave is more or less a piece of end-game content due to it's bottomless nature. For me there is something charming and intriguing in just going there and trying to descent as low as possible within a given day (of course I mean only vanilla gameplay). It will be great if in the future updates CA adds some more motivation to reach the lower levels (such as e.g. chests with unique loot in the usual mine). And some advanced ways to go to lower levels directly. But not just plain elevator, something more exciting, like e.g. some teleports consuming Prismatic Shards as a fee And in general, the recent update 1.1 was great, of course, but as for me, it lacks some new exploration-oriented stuff. 2 new locations are definitely nice, but too small to really enjoy exploring them. I hope this will be fixed in the next update, either by improving the Skull Cave, or by extending Mutant Bug Lair and Witch's Swamp, or desirable both
I still think the biggest letdown in the game is the post-bundle Community Center. Nothing is done with it. After all this bizarre metaphysical FedX effort the center is used for nothing at all. I'd like to see at least one or two merchants with very limited, randomized and extremely expensive stock set up stalls in the CC once a week. Perhaps get the kids taught there in a periodic classroom. Have Gunther set up a branch with nothing but books. Maybe have a few town meeting events which provide some more quests that convince townsfolk to vote for some very rural, in character addition to the town (such as a public flower garden). Why not use the bulletin board to advertise for items you need, instead of just items others do? That's what I'd like to see for 1.2.
