Oh you're the one who made the hat gate mod? I really liked that!

 

Yeah, I only made that mod for practice for making more advanced mods, just like StarSide 2.
With the practice I've been working on a race mod, the Half-Warps.

Play tunes that sound awful on my flute when mixed with other things...

 

The instruments, of course. I love getting together with people and rocking out with our...rock organs.

Oh damn. Things got a bit more serious while i was not here or something. I thought that was kinda funny....

Also... people talk in past-sense. Like... "i liked the building" and i get this image of my head where we are far in the future with nothing better to do but share a weird moment where we console each other over the loss of super old video games.

I think its because many people havnt played in a while because of nothing new to do

Seriously though, I'd have to say what I enjoy the most is exploring the sectors more than anything, discovering all the different plant life and mobs. Building cool stuff is always a plus.

 

Well I kinda meant to write "What is your favorite part of Starbound" But I wrote "Was" Ooops

 

Well, you could mean something like. "What was your favourite moment playing [said hours] of Starbound?"

My favorite part of Starbound is that everything is coming along so nicely. I am super happy with the way things are turning out, even though I don't like/agree with some aspects of the game (not worth discussing, just aesthetic dislikes that can be personalized through modding). I always look forward to coming on the forum now to check in on the updates and what people are saying, and the mods have gone above and beyond to clean up the place. The forum is polished now, and the game is evolving rapidly, that's my favorite part.

Oh,you know. The usual. exploring, building, fighting, costumes, playing calming instuments, mercilessly killing defenceless npc's.

 

Afraid I don't play anymore, I just check back every now and then to see when the next major stable comes out.

My favorite part was imagining what the game would be like before I ever saw or played it. With the classes have large racial differences and some being better or worse on certain planets. And when I thought every universe was 100% randomly generated so no two were alike. I think before I played I almost never thought about monsters, just the races.

Working on a pony mod was fun too for a while.

 

My favorite part of Starbound is definitely the exploration. That's what really sets it apart from other games in a similar genre to it. Next up would be the different tiers of weapons, even though that has been used before it's fun to see, say, legendary versions of a normal weapon. Third favorite part of Starbound is the pokemon-like pet collection pods.

 

i love the endless adventures, every singe planet (mostly) is a different feel and type. The only thing i dislike about it, is that there are not too many types of dungeons which i hope chucklefish works on in the future.
