What Do You Think The 3 Unannounced Races Are?

Tiy has already said he will be attemping to keep far away from racial differences.
I agree with him.
I hate being screwed over in the long run because I chose a bad race at the beginning of the game.

 

I understand how you feel, l I've played games in the past where I choose the wrong class, or allocate points to the wrong skill that screws me over.

However, I have a direct quote from Tiy from a different thread.

Personally, I think this is pretty much the best way to make everyone happy.

 

I think the last two races are going to be something people aren't going to expect, so maybe something not tiyed (pun intended) to a specific thing.

I doubt it will be anything game breaking. I doubt it would be that one race is better in every way at one type of play style, but rather a certain race would have more defensive armor, while another race might have faster movement speed armor. Maybe the guns of one race are more accurate, while another race has less accurate, but faster firing guns. Again, I doubt it would be that one race only has SMG type weapons, while another only has sniper weapons, but instead SLIGHT changes. Any race can find the blueprints for any other race's armor, so you can still mix and match somewhat. In the end, I'm sure Tiy will do what is best for everyone.

 

Armor and weapons are very important. Planetside 2 is an example. You literally have to play all 3 teams before choosing one, because each has such different equipment.
I dunno, I don't like the idea of my race affecting all my gear.
If it was cosmetic, it would be fine, and even awesome... But stat changes are guna annoy me >.<

 

I picked Lizard because that'd be cool.
Would like to see Cat people, Lizard people , Cyborg/Robot and Rock people

 

He already stated that there will be LOTS of penguins.

And on topic, I'm expecting a feline race as well as a reptilian one. I'm not too sure about the third, maybe a cyborg or robot race?

Really? That seems kinda strange since I've seen so many people asking about a feline race.

 

There could be an ocelot/cheetah/tiger race even if there isn't a cat race

 

I sincerely hope that the devteam is more ambitious than that.
