what do you think about the tier 1 boss?

Actually I do have a question about this.

A boss.. that indicates its part of the story or a quest line! I heard the 'beta' wont feature the story line or questing so.. presumably we wont even see this boss during beta.

Of so then, whatever work or updates we receive about it is going to be irrelevant anyway.

 

Now that the boss was shown my thoughts on it were that it's ok. I liked the tank and soldiers.

 

Good for a first boss, im sure they are still working on it but as it is, it certainly could stand to drop some more/better loot.
Also needs to die cooler rather then the average "poof"

 

I like it to be like in older games where the boss flashes red and multiple explosion sprites appear around it then a white flash fills the screen and it's sprite turns into a white line and disappears followed by victory music.

 

pretty much.... Speaking of music actually, i didnt fancy how the music CONSTANTLY faded in and out of combat music within seconds of each other again and again (during normal play) id much rather combat music come in when you're fighting maybe 3 or more creatures or something. or an option to turn off combat music would be good.

 

I don't mind it fading I think it just faded to quick and not as naturally as it could. Then agian I don't have a copy to play so I won't know for sure until I get my hands on it when other pre order people do.

 

TrueAussie, I think there would have been more loot if they had activated the quest.
