That escalated quickly.

 

I dunno, when I see comments like "I can't play Avians because they're atheists" and "Glitch creep me out because they have no souls," either I'm being trolled or there's something behind that.

 

Play the game, casually, like normal. I'm used to having to start over, one of my primary consumptions as a gamer is roguelikes.

 

How about actually looking for more bugs and actually helping the Devs. That's what I'm going to do.

 

*Shrug* And as an agnostic, I've seen people saying they can't empathise with or play Avians because they're atheists and can't wrap their heads around the whole religion issue, so...

On a side note, it's amusing. If you read the in-game codexes, it becomes apparent that Kluex is more a cult of personality like Big Ape as opposed to the human conception of a deity, only differently expressed; it's not only mentioned that handwriting samples from pre-ascension Kluex are present, but also the human concept of gods and religion based on what the Avians describe as "supposition and rumour" is derided and considered curious when they believe they have concrete, physical evidence of their god's existence.

It's an interesting synthesis, but it does mean that (a)theists who claim either didn't even bother reading the lore and simply saw "religion" before being set off.

Anyways, that's my piece. As for what I'm doing for the wipe, I'm going to try and finish my custom ship/satellite. It's a big one.

I've mostly been sharing my materials and stuff in the servers, because there's no need to keep it anymore. Writing my Starbound story too.

I see alot of them actually, mostly inside apex bases.

 

Play starbound patiently while waiting for things I can discuss with other people.

 

Obviously our main purpose for playing it in beta is for bug hunting, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it. Build something here, build something there, etc.

I actually started a new Skyrim session last night- needed to work off some steam and figured what the hell. Ella, the horny argonian swordsmith, is going to try to collect every book in the game, and make her house a house full of cheese and skulls!
