What do you suppose you'll do in wait of "The Final Wipe"

As with all the past wipes from before, it's always sad to see our explorers disappear. But with the final hours drawing near, this always brings a sudden urgency to meet goals, like:

-Finding all the tech available
-Completing every armor set
-Reaching Tier 10 with all 6 current races

You get the idea. That said-- what are your plans before The Final Wipe?

 

I suppose I'll take a nap. Maybe I'll have some lunch.

 

Scratch my butt.

 

Create a mess worthy of wiping.

 

Using the creative mode mod to plan out what I want I want to build later and making new recipes for a lot of those building materials we don't have access to yet.

 

Make sketches of homebase, orbital station and various sub bases, try to recruit more people to play the game. And drink lots of beer and play Magic every chance I get

 

Keep playing other games.

 

Sit on the toilet? What else do you do before you wipe?

I suppose for a serious answer...
- I reached T10 with human and hylotl...
- I created a small town in the lava of a planet's core (with a "sun"!)
- I colonized a forcefully-abandoned USCM penal colony, with 5 floors of farming, trees, and storage, and a top level Royal Penthouse from a Glitch castle.
- I collected most of the mobility techs and tried using the non-bubble boost ones.
- I found Avian T10 armor recipes and created my Giant Bird Hat.
- I cooked up tons of pies and crumbles for my hylotl, randomly named Twerkwaltzer.

I plan on playing more of my Wingdinger, I keep him in T1, never having killed the UFO. I'm doing this just to see how the game plays if you don't progress, and how much of it you can experience without beating a boss. So far, having to use 100 coal to travel to a different system absolutely sucks.

My next char after the patch will be a Floran, using only Spears and eating only meat or meat products. Or hylotl.

But to boot up this one, probably just randomly explore. I have no desire to reach tier 10 at this time. I don't like rushing through games, I always take my time. Well when it is not something like battlefield or similar genre.

I have already done what set goals that I wanted to do for the moment. Met that the last time I played. So I am in no rush, just waiting patiently, although gotta get a few screen shots maybe. Building back up I would assume wouldn't be all that difficult, plus what I have in mind wouldn't be possibly as of yet. This being due to the wipes. Building a universe takes time, but seeing as that still has a possibility to still happen, I guess I'll just build and explore when the time comes. making sure to note any bugs/glitches along the way.

 

Try and finish my ship mod before I lose all of my info. Also play other games.

My plan is to sit and wait, not even touch the game until after the wipe.

 

Disregard announcements, play Starbound like normally. Be shocked and outraged when impending wipe occurs.

 

I have not played the game at all since Thursday, Started some torchlight 2 with the steam sale last weekend to keep me going. I pretty much went as far as i cared to with out totally spoiling, wearing my self out on an unfinished game and getting too invested in large builds or anything I might be upset with losing.

I'd certainly hope this is the last time they'll clean the slate.
