What do you guys think about Earth creatures in this game?

So I saw this commercial today,




and subconsciously thought of Starbound. Then later on (as in prior to right now) I thought "Hey! Earth creatures on alien planets! They should be in Starbound!" I think Earth animals would actually look nice in this game. What do you guys think?

p.s. Please make a Babylandia planet.

Well we already have space penguins. Why not space giraffes?

 

We already have plenty of Earthly animal parts, shark heads being an example. With that, I wouldn't like to see an exact replica of an Earth creature - Unless - Chucklefish were to make the Solar System with Earth being able to be visited and then have specific Earth animals there. That is, assuming that the Humans' homeworld that gets destroyed in the prologue is a colony somewhere else or so.

 

It would be awesome if there were 1 premade star system with no procedural generation. it would be a rare easter egg star system that was our solar system. you could visit the plants here as well as earth. depending on how in depth he wanted to go with it, it could be baren of humans and only have wild animals, but precreated animals so they looked like real animals from earth. Nothing big really, just a little easter egg that would be fun.

 

It whould be interesting if earth creatures appeared but with a slight twist to them,
Like Dragon Cows!

That and don't forget that we have cats as well (complete ones- as in "not in parts").

I wouldn't mind some normal animals in the game. Even if Earth got destroyed, the colonists surely took some of the animals with them when establishing new colonies.
Actually that could be an interesting quest - searching for the lost colonies to organize a Zoo with Earth's animals. Or even a huge museum about Earth's culture for which you would not only have to search for different species but objects, vehicles, food recipies etc.

That seems pretty contradictory, dragons eat cows. So that race would extinct for cannibalism and constant battles if you take the fact dragons are intelligent but cows are not.

I don't see why that would hurt anything. Besides, we all need something to remind us of home.

I wouldn't mind Earth creatures, or some mutated sort of normal Earth creature. And babies creatures would be alright, I suppose.

Also, that AD is very strange.

 

I think that having earth animals on other planets would be weird, but oddly worth it.
