Will different races have cons and pros? With maybe humans being just good at everything?
Like avians being able to flying, and robots with a bigger battery size. And will each race have differnet starting gear?

I think you should read wiki. Cuz you know, it was discussed so many times...

It's stated in the List of Announced Game Information: races have no, and will not have, special traits. Races are for looks. The only thing that will change is that you will be able to access your race's specific blueprints (which you need to manufacture stuff) much earlier in the game; however, with enough effort you can have every blueprint and make everything. Ergo, races are for looks.

I'd suggest checking the wiki. I 1/8th run it, and it's pretty well organised.

  7. Actually, while the races themselves won't have special traits, their armors will have race-specific traits and they'll be the only ones able to craft it until more blueprints are obtained. :)

And right now each race does start out with different armor/clothing, but the traits on those haven't been decided.

Most Likely Something like this - Gun - Axe - Pickaxe. Just a guess though.

From what I've seen the default item placement/block removal tool in the game seems to be a sort of gravity gun. I'm guessing you'll start with your gravity gun and a low-level gun to defend yourself. Or, possibly, you won't start with those, but will get them very early instead.
