What did you name your NPC?

I went for Captain Hawkward, as it was the name i was planning on giving to my avian character so hopefully they will make him avian!

My Name was "The Pimpkin" which started as a joke but became a common interest for a group of friends I now have because of said joke.

Question about the naming thing, will these names be assigned to certain NPC's or will the NPC's in game simply draw from a pool of names randomly?

 

On the information it says added to the name generator, so likely they'll be handed out to the generated NPCs rather than pre-made ones.

I haven't bought my preorder yet, but I'm thinking of a stupid pun name
"Number Juan"

 

I'd imagine it'll work like Terraria where the names are put into certain pools. Except rather than having seperate pools for guide, merchant, etcetera, now there's just going to be male & female I'd imagine.

Can't wait to kill NPCs and then hire more until I stumble across my name.

 

I named him the online username I used circa 1999-2012 "metaljonas".

 

It's hard to say, although I would prefer to have something referencing myself, just so if the people I know ever find that person they would be like "holy shit what".

I went with Festiliard, the name of a nobody NPC in Neverwinter Nights that has amused me for many years.

 

I couldn't think of anything witty or good so I just went with number 3. Self Insertion.

Can't change our minds though, can we?

Actually... Self Insertion might make a good name. hehe

 

Why didn't I think of this! When I was in basic, we had a guy named Bates. So I called him "Master Bates"

He disapproved of this, and ended up chasing me around the bay trying to beat me with his rifle.

 

I wonder if someone has already had the smart*** idea to name an NPC "NPC"

 

My girlfriend wants one to be named Bustin Jieber.
