What core are you?

If you guy's remember in Terraria there were core options!

I know this is not Terraria but all the same It seems likely
core options like these will be in the game. [just in another name]

-Soft-core you lose a little money upon death.

-Medium-core you lose EVERYTHING you are carrying on death

-Hard-core You die all item's are lost and you are gone forever.

I am hardcore myself I always like the idea my adventure could end at any moment,
that I am not some omnipotent being that could never die.

And I was curious of other people's opinion's in this area.

I am hard-core.

 

I like having the other options available; however in Starbound I would play most frequently on Softcore as I did in Terraria if the same types of options exist.

 

I allways played as soft-core, because the feature didn't necessarily come out untill I quit, than I decided to play medium because I use to play runescape, and thats how it use to be. I remember I tried hard-core once, that was okay, but if Im using my main... no. Hard-core is like a lets play thing

 

Softcore no fun losing items lol, especially on a first run-though of the game

Soft.
I like derp tier. Even more since people LOVE murdering me whenever I don't have it set to soft core.

 

Soft. Mediumcore can easily turn into a death spiral where you can never get back what you lost because you don't have the ability to return to where you died, and grinding everything out again seems like tedious repetition rather than like genuine progression.

 

I start always as Medium-Core gamer. When I reach end-game I go for the real challenge! ^^

 

Soft I am bad and lazy at many things so easy=good.

 

Soft-core, but it is fun to do a hard-core play every now and then.

 

Most medium core player's would stash old weapons and spare stuff away so they will not be bare bones upon revival.

 

This is possibly the worst way of expressing a serious question.

 

Well I heard about cloning based resurection so I suppose only my objects and pets (ok I stop troll) will be gone

 

Oh wow I did not even notice that till you pointed it out...
Now i feel terrible.

 

I would hope then that storage here will be a lot easier to organize than in Terraria! I don't usually have the resources to construct a well-planned storage bin base while I'm still in progression stages.

 

Storage is VERY important and I do hope they have improved it!

Being on medium core also make's finding item's even downgrades a lot more exciting because you know if you store it away
you have a better chance of reclaiming your stuff after death, as such inventory and origination is more important then ever due to the extra crap you will
have.

 

Soft core on my first character, medium or hard on all my others.
I don't want to lose the first character I make in a game. That would make me really sad

 

That looks hard to me!

 

I'm medium core, I would accept losing my stuff, but losing the character I have grown so attached to would kill me a little inside
