What completely useless thing do you hope is in Starbound?

Buffered solutions.
Although buffered solutions are quite useful in real life they would be completely useless in a game.

A fish that you could place into a fish bowl or aquarium, which would grow and change appearance depending on what you fed to it.

 

Didn't see this earlier, but I agree with the collectable fish.

 

Only if there's an additional death sequence including a boat, a kitten, water and maybe a sudden meteor.

 

A "Nature´s call meter" and death by obstipation if you dont answer.

 

I TOTALLY forgot about kicking boots. I never bother properly identifying them. "Hard-soled shoes" works for me.

 

A place-able pile of poo. Why not? Infiltrate quiet villages in the dead of night and place them on doorsteps.
