What completely useless thing do you hope is in Starbound?

The ability to hide all armor so I always appear in my underwear.

 

Planets with no resources that can't be built on. That are absolutely COVERED in dead bodies.

Creepiest thing imaginable, everyone you try to build, slenderman comes and rustles your jimmies.

 

Afros for/on/in/about everything.

 

Slide rules. That work in binary.

 

Of course it would have to be snowballs. Who dosnt like a good snowball fight

it depends on your definition of *useless*
i guess water pumps don't have much of a practical use, but i would still like to play around with the water physics.

 

Whoopie cushion. Best item in Terraria.

 

"Useless" things I want to have in Starbound: (By "useless" I mean aspects that do not add anything directly to the gameplay itself)

- The ability to sit (either on the floor, chairs, crates, whatever);
- Ability to change hair style and colour after having created the character;
- A log/diary/journal/notebook, so you can register information you find relevant or even write a diary;
- The ability to name pets and weapons you create;

I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now.

 

Not useless but awesome and very welcome they are!

 

Yessss... and a space for them in my log book, complete with "instant replay" button so that I can watch all my beautiful deaths over and over again. I also want to collect all my dead bodies and get them taxidermied for display in my space station! I'll install speaker boxes in each of them and whenever I have visitors I'll speak to them through my dead, stuffed selves! Mwahaha!

... er... I mean... I want to collect rocks. Yeah.

 

I would just adore removing chunks of knitted-up plucks of hair to get stuck in the drain of the sink.. that is really something everyone enjoys in real life.
