What Boss Would You Want To See In Starbound?

I don't see how there wouldn't be... I've heard info that there are a few Pre-Set Worlds for the purpose of holding Scripted Main Story Events & Main Quest stuff... I would be surprised if there weren't static bosses along with them for the purpose of balance & making sure they didn't accidentally end up impossibly hard to beat by mistake, or some such. Heck, the first 1-3 Story Bosses might be 'Training Bosses', to give new players practice at the mechanics & workings of the game & how Monsters are gonna generally work in Starbound.

If even the Main Story Bosses are Procedurally Generated, no complaints here... as long as they don't accidentally procedurally generate something nigh impossible for certain builds to handle, & i'm not talking about the 'need a McGuffin' kinda Boss, I mean Bosses that are built in a way that can make them easy for one build to handle, (Like a Sniper Build) hard for another kinda build, (Like a Shotgun Build) & nigh invincible to a third kinda build. (Like me wielding a 2H Axe Build )

 

Fucking. Pinwheel. That boss was easier than the chaos bugs in Lost Izalith. Perhaps we could fight the Chosen Undead after the "Dark Lord" ending?

Unrelated to the above quote: A Komato General form Iji would be the best thing ever!

I'd like to see some sort of massively oversized tank or helicopter type thing (raiden fighters style)

To defeat it I would think you would need to attack it in some kind of mech (or at least using heavy ordnance like a rocket launcher)

Perhaps it could also be modular, so that you could target certain bits (eg. Engine to stop movement)

 

I ♥ Iji... I wouldn't say no to a Iji Homage either, I would vote for either

a Sentinel (like Proxima was)

or

a Komato Annihilator!!!

I wonder if we could suck Daniel Remar into Starbound & get him hooked to the game? Then he might even contribute these Homages himself!

I want a dragon boss.....or something that's dragonic at the very least...Cause dragons are INSTANT AWESOME.

Also Slendy or something similar to him.....or basically any "creepy/horror" themed boss.

 

I would also like horror bosses, but I would prefer something like Jedusable or like in MGS where you had to plug into port two, stuff that is puzzley, but messes with your head.

Freaking this guy, would be horrifying to encounter. I think a lot of creatures on that site could be bosses, though. The SCP Foundation.
