What biomes would you like to see in Starbound?

It's like I said it. But not.

 

Organic biome. Fleshy blocks and backgrounds covered with pulsating veins. Contra FTW.

 

Oh gosh, nightmares from my SNES days as a kid... Those kind of things scared the crap out of me. I would probably have a nostalgic panic attack if I saw something like that in Starbound.

 

This is why you bring a flamethrower. For biological worlds.

Would the blocks "squish" and splatter blood when you mined them?

 

With Mount Tiymore and Statue of Tiyberty

 

Actually-it's-an-huge-monster biome.

 

A biome made of cheese.

 

That would be pretty neat actually, if certain weapons like flamethrowers could burn through certain blocks. Even mining flesh would be kinda gross

 

Earth. I'm not kidding. I want Earth to be in the game.

 

I wonder if it'll be like planet of the apes

Now that I think of it, I bet Liquid Crystal could be VERY beautiful stuff...

 

That'd look... extremely epic.

technically "liquid crystals" exist, in fact many people have thousands upon thousands within arm reach from them as they are reading this post....

 

Oh yeah! LCD Monitors! Duh! I forgot to think about that.

Still... it would be epic seeing Lakes, Rivers, & Oceans of Liquid Crystal! If I find such a thing in-game, i'm so harvesting it for use in the build of the Glunaught's new Home Planet, Izakam!

 

Its perfectly fine, I hadn't found an excuse to be a smartass yet today anyways.
