What are your favourite Sci-fi melee weapons?

a high frequency blades from metal gear rising revengeance they make everything that they touch weaker and easier to cut through so i think of weakness debuff

Yep, I am on the chain-swords i have always thought they were cool.

Force gun from DeadSpace 2. Might be a gun, but it's nearly useless at long range, and almost godlike at close range.

 

A gun with the powers to distort gravity. I love watching enemies float in the air.
Also their reactions when they hit the ground.

Love your guys work. Heaps of mad weapons cant wait to see even one fifth of these weapons in game.

 

33 pages was too long to read ... but i think that something uniquely starbound would be good... like a Floran sword that just happens to be the backbone from a glitch.... or a Novakid plasma whip, or a glitch would of course be using a proper sword, but since they are robots, the swords could be HUGE. a sword twice the size of the glitch carrying it would be awesome to see. Humans have of course given up violence for peace and will only be carrying flowers..
