What are you playing till Starbound?

Let's see...
I just recently bought Final Fantasy VII for my computer, so count that one in.
Mojang's Scrolls.
Minecraft (sometimes).
Terraria (once it updates).
FTL.
Magicka.
The Binding of Isaac (with Wrath of the Lamb DLC).
And probably some multiplayer shooters with my Steam buddies, like TF2 or L4D2.
Maybe a few others as well, but these are the ones I play most often.

 

I didn't play it much. I just now, after like 10 years gotten past the 3rd boss in Dark Cloud 1. I don't think i've even finished the first area in Dark Cloud 2.

 

Me I will be playing Dota 2, dwarf Fortress ( I really like it so haters gonna hate ) and Left 4 dead 2

 

The best FAQ/Guide I ever saw for Dark Cloud 2 was written by someone that had over 2,000 hours in played time. He still hadn't found everything you could do.

Chapter 1 wasn't that exciting to me, but it's mostly just a tutorial. Once you get into the meat of the game it gets pretty amazing.

A lot of games can learn from the mini-game / side content in DC2. Take fishing and golf as examples.

The fishing is actually challenging, fun, and has a lot of depth. (Different lures, equipment, fishing spots...the fish fight and you have to react) Then you can take those fish and raise them in an aquarium. Then you can breed the fish in your aquarium to make other fish. Then you can train those fish to take part in races against other fish.

Golf. You can actually use different weapons as clubs to hit a ball around virtually every map in game. Each map has its own par, and since there's some random level generation thrown in, there's always another challenge.

 

If i ever get around to it i'll play it. Also, there is no hope for the world. Saints Row 3 won over Mass Effect 2 in a flash sale vote. GG no RE

actually i'm into unfinished games somehow.... playing warframe beta and starforge alpha

 

Warframe is a good game. I was playing that for a while till I hit max level and almost max weapon level. I got my second suit and I lost interest. I'll probably play it again later on when it gets more content

 

you could optimize your frames and weapons with formas. makes you cut through the nme like a railgun ^^

 

Oh, I know. I could kill anything but that dang shadow. I think I was finally able to kill it by the time i quit.

Currently New Vegas and Firefall, I'm adding Rise of the Triad 2013 at the end of the month, then Payday 2 come next month. Might throw the Payday 2 beta in there somewhere, depending on when it hits.

 

Stalking Steam to get FEZ at 50% off because I missed the initial sale of it. The steam stalking game is a tough one.
