What are you playing till Starbound?

Dungeon Keeper 1 was actually horrible... Didn't age well at all. Different engine makes a whole difference. Also the fact that dungeon keeper 2 was written for win 95 instead of DOS.

 

Well it's game evolution after all ^^ back in the days, sequels meant quite something. Take the Sim City evolution, for instance (not the last one, garbage ). The first ones aged horribly, but 2000 / 3000 / 4 still preserve their charm (however there might be compatibility issues now), as they're an important part of what I call the Golden Age of next-generatiion games (early 21th century) : the exponential search for gameplay refinement.

 

CS:GO - I actually play competitively at a professional level, and the season has just started, so I have to dedicate some time each day for this alone.
Guild Wars 2 - Been playing since beta, think I've only had a month or so off it so far. Yet only 1 level 80, but another 3 chars in their 60's.
Terraria - Awaiting the patch! That game consumed me for ages, have now started getting a feel for it again.
Freelancer - Just got the discovery mod yesterday and have been playing again. I don't think it's catching me how it used to though.

 

Fear of a name only increases the fear of the game itself.

 

Lotsa roguelikes, finished a dwarf fortress game a while ago after my character beat the living shit out of some bandits (which took FOREVAH!), I ran into a snakeman fort(I was human) and tried to recruit one.
Needles to say, I made one join me, then my other human ally started killing them, was stomped and trampled on by them, killed, and then they came after me!

Sadly I threw my iron mace at them, and died short thereafter due to not having any weapon whatsoever

Guys....über sales on Alan Wake on the steam platform... go for it if you don't have already, this game's a gem xD

 

I've been keeping myself busy with Terraria, Tf2, Portal, RO2, and Star Wars Battlefront 2. All great games, except for when I get force pushed on Mos Eisley...

 

day z is always fun, gmod zombie survival has so many maps and i learn new things each day it never gets boring. and, now that its out, risk of rain.

 

Gosh, I'd love to try RoR out but...20€, even for an amazing-looking indie game, is still too high for my poor wallet atm. Might wait till release to see.

 

Anything that is fun, at the moment I'm playing alot of Primal Carnage, that game is so much fun in 20 vs 20 Team Deathmatch.

 

that must suck if you dcant afford it. truth is, i knew it would be opened again sooner or later, so i saved up for it.cool new robot guy and all.

 

Just got back into Terraria a few days ago, been playing non-stop. I just found a bunch of mods too, so that's nice .

 

mount and blade warband. such a great game, but i know so many people who are put off from it because of the graphics.

 

Bin having a great time with FTL. It was patched and went on sale at the same time so I couldn't resist.
