What are you playing till Starbound?

I've been locked to singleplayer games since my internet isn't that great. So, it's mostly been the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series lately.

 

Mainly I'm just starring at the Starbound homepage refreshing it every 5 minutes hoping for Tiy to release a beta date.

 

What the...! I've never even thought about using the Pocket Dimension for storage. How stupid!

Play ALL the games!!!, but anyways, I've mostly been playing World of Tanks, Neverwinter, Defiance, War Thunder, and Just Cause 2 (Why? Just Cause!) .

It released in early alpha. The campaign mode is super barebones, the UI is still pretty rough around the edges, and there's the glitch here and there, especially in the modding scene.

But. If you bought into Mount and Blade a long time ago, before it was on steam, back when Zendar was the town you started around, when you couldn't take over towns and castles with seiges... Well, it feels like that. The beginnings of a game you can sink a thousand hours into without even noticing. Where you spend time tweaking ships and your character to try and get it just right, to have the baddest fleet in the sector. But, just like Mount and Blade, while the campaign is rough now, here in these early stages, the combat still shines like a diamond.

If there was any in-development game I would recommend more even more than Starbound, it is Starsector.

 

I decided to purchase Catherine via PSN since it was price-dropped to $19.99 and I do so adore playing any game published by Atlus. Within the first few hours of playing, I find myself feeling awful. This is not because the game is bad, goodness no. The game is wonderful with its puzzles and making me think of how to progress. What makes me feel absolutely horrid is the story. Once again, it's not bad at all and is actually quite compelling. It's certainly making me want to play more. However, it is very difficult on an emotional basis for me to play because I feel like such lowlife scum.

For those who've played dating sims or RPGs with dating sim elements, such as Persona 3 and 4, did you enter intimate relationships with multiple partners at the same time? I try my absolute best not to, although I suppose in the case of Persona 3 (not quite so for P3P), I don't have a choice BUT to do so to obtain certain personas, but at least there's a relatively happy end----well, no not really in the case of that particular game.

Personally, I find the very idea of cheating on someone absolutely abhorrent. This, of course, reflects on how I play certain games and what not that allow multiple romances even though I stick with only one (multiple save files not withstanding). Catherine, however, makes this its bread and butter. Again, in my eyes this is a very compelling game, but it's so very difficult to play emotionally because of my morals. The more I progress, the more I hate myself for making the choices the game allows me to make and seeing the results.

Don't get me wrong. For all I know, I may be making a fuss over nothing since I've really only just played about four hours of this. There could be quite the turnaround. Regardless of how horrible it makes me feel morally, the fact that it's striking such powerful blows emotionally with humor thrown into the mix says a lot about the kind of detail that went into this. I imagine I'll feel more like a dirtbag the more I progress, but I can still admit that it definitely makes me want to see more of the story to see how this gets result.

PlanetSide 2, baby! It's a great and massive MMOFPS you have to try sometime.

 

Arma 3 Wasteland mostly, but I still play Morrowind EoS:III with LOTS of mods its such an awesome game. Then ofc ourse Modded Minecraft, FTL and also I've been playing a newer game Sword of the Stars:The pit(Amazing rouge like space game on steam too) and a little bit of Don't Starve.

 

I would be wasting my time playing Team Fortress 2, Dota 2 and Garry's Mod until Starbound Comes out (Y U NO COME OUT?)

Since it's been announced that Spicy Horse will be trying to buy the rights for the Alice franchise started by American McGee , I've begun to play through "American McGee's Alice" and it's sequel "Alice: Madness Returns". Although it's very unlikely that they will succeed in buying the rights it's still nice. The new game is called Alice: Otherlands.
