What are you most excited about for Starbound?

"Sitting on a toilet!", this game has gone next gen!

 

Talking about a next gen mechanic... have you guys ever heard of LEANING? OH WOW, AMAZING.

The mining.
Things like oil and core-biomes are making Starbound look like a much more interesting and fulfilling mining experience than Minecraft and Terraria.

 

But that was the whole point

Personally I just cant wait to get myself a ship and start exploring a massive, procedurally generated universe. Its kind of ultimate fantasy fulfillment for me.
I want to catalog the lifeforms, excavate the ancient artefacts, fight the monsters and craft the loot.

 

Haha, I would have to go with 'The Release'. At first I was going to say the main map for exploring the universe (the gui thats going to represent planet choices. Mostly because i suggested that a whole year ago and then it ended up getting implemented, so i feel like the devs listened.) But it definately has to be 'The Release'.

 

Everything that's procedurally generated.

... So basically everything.

 

Personnaly I am most excited about the "fossil" part of the game as i love collection and i love the idea to dig carrefully or the fossil will be lost and will become dust !
I really expect a great experience for this part , and i wish tones of fossil to find

 

Hopefully they have tea, or rootbeer floats. I'm excited to see the recipes!

Building a home and stuff with some friends. We'll coordinate it through mics, and hopefully come up with some cool/creative ideas for structures and whatnot.

It's difficult to pick any one thing that I'm most excited about since any one part of the game probably isn't unique, it's more about how it all comes together. I'm going to say the exploring is what I'm most looking forward to, so many planets with so many different creatures to fight and materials to discover.

 

I want it all! The guns, the swords, the amour! The glory of smashing faces and strip mining planet's like tomorrow will never come!

well as tiy stated some planets will ether close to eternal day or night so that might be the case
