The latest patch that released today deleted my character which i spent a little over 100 hours on...well that was fun

 

Was going to happen, Did say wipes were coming.

 

one does not simply play beta without wipes

They said it MULTIPLE times, even before the beta was released, that the characters were going to get wiped at one point or an other.

So go away, one less cry baby that don't know what a beta is and think they are playing the full release.

I spent 43 hours on my character, not even slightly pissed off because I knew what I was doing already and just got back to where I was before. The patch was going to include a character wipe, you shouldn't be surprised. "Beta Stage 1: Proginator" is where most of the bugs are, and character/universe wipes are guaranteed to happen.

 

They didn't say it in a very important part though, the Steam store page, where they sell the game. Nowhere in the Steam store do you see anything mentioned about wipes. I knew wipes were going to happen, as I've been watching this game for a long time. However, I knew there would be quite a handful of people who just decided to buy it on Steam and had no clue, as not everybody goes to places outside of the game for information.

 

The wipes were mentioned on the very front page of the forum you have come to complain to
They were also mentioned in the launcher which you obviously didnt read
also this is beta
what do you expect?

Seriously you are just grasping at straws, is a fucking beta, beta mean dont get attached cos things get funky

 

It's really sad that someone can't even post here just wryly commenting that 100 hours of gameplay got wiped (and that they enjoyed it anyway) without people screaming in their face about it being a beta and calling the OP an idiot...
Not everyone is doing this, but those who are: you know who you are. Seriously guys, it's completely unnecessary. All you need to do is say something like: "Hah, yep! Happened to us all, that's one of the pitfalls of doing beta testing! Good luck building up your character again" and then move on... seriously, if you don't have something nice to post, don't post.
