Well I was going to go to bed.

*sigh* I was going to go to bed awhile ago but then the thought of "Oh I should build this!" pops into my head and Starbound gets started back up. Yet another game that's going to wreak havoc on my sleeping schedule. Atleast I'll have fun doing it

 

My sleeping schedule is in shambles even without games, games just make it worse.
As do forums for games..

 

Ermm. Make sure to take proper rest breaks when enjoying the game. I think they SHOULD add an ingame disclaimer..maybe a helpful hint that pops up either through client or through Steam saying, "Wow. 4 hours playing? Don't you have homework? A significant other? That box of Hot Pockets calling your name? ..Isn't work in like six hours? Take a break." And if you fail to heed the warning of the message, a gamebreaking swarm of koala's tickles you to death while you are immobilized on screen and the client will not restart for another hour.

I have that same very problem lol, it is indeed a very attractive game in that once you plan to build something and stop, you find yourself building or exploring more and more. =)

 

I went with A Hylotl this go around and I really wish there was a way to build a massive underwater crystal base. Might need to look into some of the modding being worked out. Post a screenshot of your base, since..you know..you mentioned it..same for OP

 

I "showcased" my base so far in a video in another thread a little down the line on here. It would take too many screenshots.

 

I saw..dig the ingame soundtrack you provided. And WOW. Did you build all of that or was it a random NPC village you built upon? Looks deep. I dig the fountains and the epic rainbow bubble jump off your castle. Much style. Full of win.

 

I levelled out all the ground and built everything. There's a glitch village to the left of where I stopped that I stole everything from.
