I'm gonna guess it'll probably be out in the next 2-3 weeks but you can't be sure

 

seems like beta might come out around my b-day, which happens to be in 2 and a half weeks from now, either way im still excited at all the progress they've made with the game so far.

If they want "Beta to last a couple months" they better release it soon if they want to make their 2014 full release date.

 

Well let's hope there is a good reason why their isn't a beta, like some game destroying bug that the team just can't wrap their minds around to figure out how to fix, pushing back the release date indefinitely.

Well I said it before so I might as well say it again, if you look at the reaction - absolute dripping hatred - on Steam for any Early Access game, it's easy to see why the "public beta" is going to be basically one of the last stages of the actual beta phase of development. Which really sucks for those of us that actually want to troubleshoot something that doesn't work 100%. Too many people think Early Access is a backstage pass to play the finished game before anyone else (this needs to be a caption for the rent is to damn high meme).

 

I'm 50% sure it releases in November, and 50% it releases in December .

 

They announced the three phases of beta, they said it would be out this year, and they wouldn't just announce it to shut people up, in fact they probably did it to build more hype for the release. It IS coming, everybody get BACK ON TOPIC.
