How do we know it's a pet? It doesn't look owned or domesticated.

 

I was gonna put it on a rug but I had to leave, don't feel like adding it. It was done at 3am last night so im done

 

Well at this point if you want to win you need to add the rug so it fits with the theme. Do that and you win this week.

 

I am fine with no rug. If he says it is a pet than it is. Now if he puts Entry in the post then he might win.

 

Starting off the week again, here is a robot who is in love with a blender.

Daft Punk, anyone? This isn't an entry, because I traced a reference for it, but I figured I'd put it up anyway.

Edit: Okay, here's my actual entry for this week, entitled, "Sawbot Loves"

Then one day, Sawbot Killf*cker 5000 learned to love.

Btw, I'm fairly new to pixel arting and whatnot, so if anybody has feedback on this or any future (or past) posts, I'd love to hear it.

Yes. The guy is generic. Very generic.

 

I was working on a thing, but I didn't finish it and it's almost Saturday (like a few minutes from it where I am) so this isn't an entry but here's what I started (that I'll hopefully, but probably never, finish):


It's one of those YMIR mech things from Mass Effect.

 

I think it is looking great Chompy. I don't mind late entries so don't think of Friday as a hard deadline, if you wanted to finish it.
I also like to wait through Saturday where I live to make sure that people have an opportunity to vote.

 

Thanks. I should be sleeping in case I go to watch my brother play in his school band for the parade tomorrow, but I might try to finish it up since I've been messing with it all week.



Edit: I didn't finish it last night this morning because I fell asleep and the legs and arms made me want to cry (those angles t-t). I fixed the head and the horribly flat looking grey areas in his mid section.

Make an updated sprite of your favorite 8 bit character, using only 4 colors in true retro style (should also use a transparency that counts as a 4th color)
Example:

sprites need to include transparency. The example doesn't because I just wanted to quickly find something similar to what I was talking about

So by four colours do you mean like only four colours like this: sprite, sprite, sprite and sprite, or four shades of one colour like: sprite, sprite, sprite and sprite.

 

Any four colors, as long as one of them is transparency. It can be a game sprite or a portrait or whatever, just don't make it look just like it did in it's 8 bit version since it's supposed to be an upgrade.
