it's revival theme where is revival here =x

 

I dunno i took it as a Zelda heart container fairy revive type thing i think its ok not great. (looks better on a white background tbh)

A simple Fire of life/hope kinda thing. Its neat, right? RIGHT?
(feedback on my art is always appreciated)

 

well i think revival is interpreted very litgly, but it's the first theme of a looong time ago so i won't complain x)

The fire is well done nothing to say about it, maybe the heart need more light (is on fire no? so why does he just have one light on top left?)
edit that the last days and i've got my idear now (absolutly no connexion with your pixel art)super i have less than an hour to done it

personnaly i can do it or Prodamn (an older in this thread)if none of the moderator want to manage it (but i really prefer a moderator make it =)

(also does anyone know any pixel animation software? like flash cs5, but for pixel art?)

 

I really think it did. I've been checking back to see if they've chosen a winner yet . It was set to end on the 22nd (as said in a previous post), but I dunno. :/

 

Depends on what OS you have, but for Mac I use Aseprite, there is a payed version but I use the one they offer for free.
On PC I love using GraphicsGale, but that one is payed.

 

I use aseprite too. Best ten bucks I ever spent. You can find older versions of it for free online though.

Also, how does the whole 'contest' bit usually proceed at this point? Is there a single moderator, some voting process, or something? Where does a new topic come from?

 

God, i wish this could stay alive... Too bad.

 

As the original contest manager doesn't seem to be running it any more (correct me if I'm wrong here @Lord Octopus), the transition is gonna take time. Hopefully not too much longer (I'd be tempted to do it but I know next to nothing about art, especially pixel art).

 

Original winner was chosen by popular vote, most likes = winner and if that's still how it's working (I don't see why we should change what works) then the winner should be @Ifrix with their sprout.
It will most likely take some time for the main page to be updated so @Ifrix you can go ahead and choose next weeks Theme (If everyone is cool with that.)

Also as I mentioned before I'm up for running the thread, now that I've brought my laptop back from the brink of death I can also participate.

Alright, can someone change the theme in the forum's title to the theme that Ifrix chose?

 

Can we please just make a new one? i feel like this is dying solely because no one really feels lie changing it. Im open in making a new thread because im usually on the forums.

We are going to finish the current weeks theme, and by next week a new thread hosted by yours truly will be up.
I'm open to any suggestions for the new thread now, I have alot of "free" time tomorrow so if you have any suggestions try to get them in today so I can incorporate them into the design.
