THIS WEBSITE NEEDS MORE EFFECTS N' SPACE IN STAHPFF ^^literally couldn't have thought of anything better to write. Then again,you could say that the expectations to the game would be quite higher with a new website,and the dazzling looks should be nice in the waiting meantime However,if this change will mean that the release would take a longer time,I'll just let the devs do their job and simply just wait like everyone else ^_^ (after all,in the meantime Terraria 1.2 is coming out in a few days or so,maybe 2 weeks for max,so there's enough stuff to do until I can finally go to purchase starbound) Btw,can I still buy the game even when the beta starts?
Maybe allow someone to change between the old and new themes? I'm all for a new theme to keep things fresh but it's always nice to have options.
I personally like the dark theme. I have sensitive eyes, so light colored themes hurt my eyes a lot if i spend to much time looking at them, so i'd much rather keep this theme or make another dark theme.
It's fine as is, and most people seem to prefer the darker/less vibrant colors. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
I think the theme should be space related, like, star background with a solar system with Planets and moons and like a big asteroid belt in the middle of the system and maybe something like on some planets you can see light on the nightsiide to resemble sentient civilizations and maybe a spaceship or a spacestation orbiting a planet. you kno, to present to people the game theme/genre pherhaps
Keep it. A new design would be too soon now IMO. You could do that once the game is released or when the beta starts though.
I agree with what some of the others here are saying. I think the site theme is perfect for Starbound. Changing it will just make a lot of people nostalgic, which I would say is a very good thing to avoid especially this early on in development.
