I am sure that this will make it eventually. If avians get "fluff" and apex get beards, then humans should get beards too. (I could do without "undy color" as an option). When I play as a human I must have a character with a mustache.

 

I agree. Humans and apex have pretty good hairstyle options. Robot head-mods aren't bad (I was really hoping for a single central "eye" type head, but bah). Avians have a lot of nice, distinct plumage-fluff options that are memorable without having to be huge. Some of the Floran foliage options are really insanely huge, and the same is true for some of the hyotl's fin styles. It kind of feels like subtlety itself got the shaft in some cases.

I can't wait to see how some of the Floran foliage options cope with having hats put on them. I assume they'll just be "bald when wearing headgear," as is so often the case in video games.

 

Try using the char gen in Opera or Chrome. It doesn't work correctly in Firefox, which I'm guessing is what you're using.

I noticed that when you choose the robot race, and choose the normal robot torso as the 'shirt type', the neck is only a pixel wide-it looks a little strange. But other than that, the character creator seems to work fine.

 

yup im using firefox seems to me like one of the beter browsers out there

 

I like how it works, its simple but gets the job done. I dont like that there are no beards, would be nice to have that. I also dont like the robots clothes, they look like Pinocchio or some other 17th century school boy clothes.

I do like the creator over all though.

 

Haha, I'm going more with a dark-ages vibe than Pinocchio.

 

I sort of think that the Avians, Florans and Apex should have more alien-looking clothes.

 

Reading your post has made me realise that Florans' and Avians' clothes are quite alike. However, considering how their cultures are, it does make sense, so no complaints - Just an observation.

I actually think Apex uniforms fit them quite well, especially when considering their story. Nevertheless, more variety is always welcome to me.

I can confirm that the no-clothes options are now working in Firefox.

 

personally, im liking the way I've got my(future) floran set up

i really love the clothing options and the last hairstyle(i think the last one with the chop sticks in the hair) of the aquatics(can't be arsed to type out hylotes or whatever their called)

the creator could use some improvements like clicking a drop down arrow for the hair type, clothes and everything and select one out of a list over left or right
but overall im cool with it

 

Haha,I meant that in Asian countries most people think of sushi and stuff like that, that comes from fish, as a big food.

 

These are the things that stuck out to me when I was making an Avian:
A large portion of the plumes look pretty similar.
Fluff/beak/feet colors should definitely be a thing.
Colors are really limited, I'd love to see sliders or a color picker in place of the current system.

With all that said I wasn't expecting nearly as many options as we got. My main issue is with the limited color selection. At the moment it seems like everyone is going to be running around with the same 10 or so colors.

 

I have a suggestion for the Hylotis or whatever they're called.

Can make it so it's possible to have less than 3 eyes? That bugs me.

 

Can you make it so humans have less then 2 eyes? That bugs me.

I think its just part of their race, that would be like asking if the plants could... not be plants?

 

I loved the character creator, Hyotl's look like martial artists.

 

At first, I was going to be a human, now I have no Idea which one to choose

I was thinking florans, but Im too hipster for that
So im thinking, robots, apex or fishies!

Just think the fesh and robots need better hair styles for the females, how the hell am I gonna make a stripper bot with a braincase as hair

 

i really want Uniforms for humans, but only saw them on Apexs. Is there any announce about that the Humans can wear other things to differ the Casual clothing? or maybe adapt to the clothing of the Apex?
I kind of want to rebuild my current Avatar, or take the Apex clothing without needing to take Apex itself.

(i fear i am being way too specific)
