This topic shall be used to discuss our current Web Character Creator.

Waddya think of it?

I believe it's quite smooth and accessible.

However, no beards...

Poll options, basically mean:

Option 1 - It's fantastic! No complaints!
Option 2 - Horrible! Destroy it!
Option 3 - Needs a few changes to be better!

 

I quite like it. However, the last options in the pants and shirts categories glitch up the program.

 

I've witnessed a couple of glitches as well, namely certain buttons and names not appearing. However, hovering/clicking them would fix the issue.

 

Its really cool, I like that they added this.

 

Immediate thoughts:

-Why are there specific hair/fin/whatever styles for each gender? Let us pick any haircut we want!
-Avians have beak styles and consequently their stock just jumped up a billion points in my book

 

Avians need more shirt and pants customization, or else i think im just going feathers. Also, I don't see why female robots have special "chests".

 

It won't load for me, and I have a mega computer... q.q

 

Add an animation simulator, so you can see what they will look like when they are running, jumping, etc.

I don't really like any of the female human hairstyles.

 

Rename it to .png!

 

I would also very much like if we could have numbers.

For example, Hairstyle 1 > Hairstyle 2 > Hairstyle 3, and so forth. It'd be easier to check around back and forth until a favourite type is chosen, especially since sometimes things might seem so alike that it takes a while to be fully aware if we've gone full loop or not.

Anyone else getting a bug where everything but the right arm disapears?

I was going to post this too. Robots in particular have a lot of interchangeable details on the head mods that can be confusing. (Glass dome brain head>>with-without broad visor,>>with without ear-things, ear-things + smaller brain + taller visor, etc etc)

 

Server may still be suffering from everybody reloading maybe.

 

After having seen both Humans and Robots through the creator, I'm actually leaning much more towards a Robot than a Human now. Hmm... Still waiting on their backstories before I make my decision.
