I love the idea too. Sometimes I just get mad with dozens of chests and can't remember where do I put the important stuff. Voting up
I love this idea! Searching through some storage chests/crates is always a pain; visual storage is a much better storage solution. Besides standard wooden racks a more futuristic style could be akin to the Eat'o'tronic 3000s from fallout 3 but designed to hold weapons.
Similar ideas have always been mentioned, and I've been a fan of the concept. I wouldn't mind if weapon racks were implemented.
Yep. There is a sword on a rack in the glitch castle. I don't know if the whole rack+sword are together as a single, decorative item or if the sword was placed there. EDIT: almost forgot, I wanted to say: Don't immediately assume that an idea is easy to implement. I'm not a programmer or anything myself, but I've read all kinds of stories about how a writer/concept artist/etc. has gone to their programming coworker buddies with a seemingly simple idea, only to find out that it's hard as crap to actually make happen. I LOVE this idea, but I just thought I'd say that.
Yes! I have trouble getting rid of my obsolescent weapons. They did nothing but serve me well and deserve to be hanged up in homage to the fun times we had murdering together.
Weapon Racks would certainly feel more purposeful than storing weapons in chests. Personally, the whole organisational aspect of the idea is what appeals to me the most. They are both a means of storage, and an ornamental piece.

"-Hey dad, can i take your sw.. -Sure, but let me alone ! -Yeaaaah I'm killing piiigs !! -Ooh crap !"
Terraria had mannequins, but I always wanted somewhere to put my trusty Blue Moon in memory of my earlier days. There's no reason not to have this implemented, in my opinion.
