Weapon of choice

The question I ask in this thread is simple, what is/are your favourite weapon(s)?

Personally I can't decide, I like to use a shield but that makes you so limited offensively.

 

I'm a space marine... well at least I want to be.

Yutani Marines at your service sir!

- Assault Rifles! (So much fun to use!)
- Pistol/Flashlight (backup service weapon)
- 2H Axe/Sword (When things have to get personal)

Backup weapons: throwing knifes, Bow, bombs

 

I use a sniper rifle and a 2h sword mostly.

Butttt I also use a flame shotgun pretty often too...and if I can ever find a cowboy shirt to go with my pants and hat I'll probly start using dual pistols more often xD

 

I used to run lightning dagger and shield but they kinda nerfed shield blocking.

 

I like switching between 2 at the moment. I use a big 2 handed axe with a slow swing speed but high damage per swing and knockback to kill monsters who charge and I use a Sword and Shield combo to attack ranged monsters. I haven't found any guns yet, but I imagine I'll just replace the Sword and Shield with a Pistol and Shield, and I'll keep the big axe. It can always be handy.

 

Sniper rifle and 2H swords, sometimes double 1H swords.

And duo 1H pistols IF they are slow and powerful.

 

Anything Long range with over 1.50 attack speed ( Long ranged melee weaponry that is )
Usually 2 handers

 

A 2-handed hammer and two pistols. Basically doing as much possible damage in as little swings.

 

Two handed swords are my favorite, preferably the largest one you can find.

 

I found my first robot base last night, and since all I had was a Iron Bow and no armor, my weapon of choice was the Dirt Block =)

Each time I found an enemy robot, I surrounded them with dirt blocks immediately, then dug a little 1 block hole by their feet and shot arrows in until they died. Very, very cheap move but it allowed me to clear the base without taking any damage. I hope higher level enemies know how to dig - otherwise I'm going to feel pretty cheap doing this all the time!

 

Pistol if I could find one.

 

I prefer 2h swords, long range, big hitbox and hits pretty hard and fast.

 

Depends on my mindset really;

Go Go Nigiri uses daggers.

Dustwing keeps her distance and uses a sniper rifle, with a spear for those persistent fellows that insist on getting close.

Tec-ums packs a pistol and a superior tactical mind.

Oilspot would prefer to use a big ole wrench, and but hammers work just fine for now.

Lonnie Donnerson uses an assault rifle that she pried from the cold, dead hands of miniknog operative.

Fruitfang has an axe, and a hankering for some lumberjack vengeance.

 

Sword & Shield.
1H Melee/Range & Flashlight/Lantern for mining
Dual Wield Range.

 

Depends on the situation. Generally, you'll see me running around with either a shotgun or dual pistols/hand cannons (I dislike the faster firing guns.)

For melee, two handed sword or dual swords.

 

My favorite weapon is locking enemies into a room with me while I have fits of extreme gas due to all the alien meat I keep eating. It's super effective.
