Weapon merchants more common?

So, I booted up the game on the new patch just a minute ago, and my starting planet was in the middle of a mushroom-person village. I noticed, going through it, that there was actually a weapon merchant like you find on Avian airships selling guns and swords and such. I was wondering if this was new, and if it occurs in all towns now just like the normal food and clothes merchants, because that would be awesome.

 

A mushroom merchant? There were already regular racial merchants selling weapons, but the fact they are selling guns is new. Well beyond the airship that is. That is good to hear now the regular town weapon merchants sell guns as well. If that is the case.
