Having capes in capes slot is too mainstream BUT WAIT... WHY NOT HAVING SWORDS IN CAPE SLOTS? please do make this happen, alot of swords look so cool, but the only way to show it is by fighting with mobs. PLEASE DO CONSIDER ABOUT THIS
I support a sheathed weapon vanity choice. I believe there's a hunters knife vanity, isn't there? I'd love to have a water sword vanity for my hylotl
When I read the title I was like "slicing monsters with your cape?" But this does sound pretty awesome- a piece of cloth dandling down my MIGHTY back is not enough.
Well, there's a hunting knife you can put on your back nut that's about it. I would personally prefer if we didn't have our weapons drawn at all times, that were was a button we could hit for them to go onto our back but if we click, we take them back out. Why? Well we usually have the entire hotbar FULL of items. In order to see your pose you need to have 1 slot empty, which would be possible if looted items didn't automatically go into empty hotbars rather than inventory. Some people don't have mouse wheels, so if your gun is at 4 and your only non-weapon is at 8 or so, it can get a bit annoying to swap between them whenever you enter a town. If I could just hit H or G, something like that, whenever I wanted to put whatever I'm holding on my back it'd be way better. Not to mention that this game is a lot about how it LOOKS. Everyone is taking tons of screenshots. Getting your pose in your screenshot is probably something people would like instead of holding some cooked meat and a flashlight. So.. Creating more vanity back items for weapons on your back? Nah. Having the actual item placed on your back? Yes please.
yea I would love this idea and the sheath feature aswel, when town guards tell me to put my weapon away and I have to switch to a banana or some other random item it throws me off a bit.
If you use 1-handed weapons it's more complicated because it'll always prefer to have a 1-handed weapon WITH the consumption item so you have to right click another non-lethal item in your hotbar to end it. If you've accidentally passed the guard without realizing, doing all this can risk him getting mad at you and trying to kill you, just because your hotbar wasn't adjusted perfectly for town-exploring.
