You are not an investor,at all.You gave 15 bucks in order to be able to pay for a alpha of a game you like and to see the progress being made by the developers being incorporated at the game.

If you had invested 2 millions oir a similar amount,yes,you would have effective power within the decisions made and would have influence over the Development team and the aspects of the game.

You dont,I dont,nobody does,we simple payed to get the alpha and see progress.

Now,here is where the real kicker starts:They have completely revamped Ships,Added Ship A.I.,Completely reworked combat,added Admin comands for Multiplayer Servers and added new tructures,namely Outposts.

Crazy stuff,right?Lots of stuff,crazy cool stuff everyone WANTS,buuuuuut would also like WORKING!

Debuging,testing,implementing,creating asets,none of that takes a freaking minute,and they WANT to GIVE YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE A BUG FREE,FUN ,BIG ASS UPDATE FOR EVERYONE WHO SUPORTED THEM!

And Id like to say,despite two months of moving,they have reported way more stuff being made and have made much more content in a much shorter amount of time then when they were previously,limited by timetables and unorganized mess.

Real World?Mercy?Quit the fancy wordwork,and quit being a impatient smartass.

If you cant wait,leave,no problem or shame in it,and join when the update comes round,otherwise you are just being yet another "Drama Queen" we all have to listen to ranting because of low patience.Thats your won problem and development is being made,whats your excuse?

Im preeety sure Terraria had more than 2 peeps workin on it and 400 hours for me.

I disagree. The quality of a game can only be judged by the developers and the company working on them. We've had games released that took ages and were awful, and we've had quick successes that blew up more than the developers could have dreamed of.

Asking for results doesn't mean it will end up crap, and they may take their time and it doesn't end up good. The developers just need to do worry about their game, and do their job.

Being a master painter,but only having 10 minutes for a magnificent painting?Not good.

The Devs are good,these ones are,but without time,they have to rush everything,if they start rushing everything,they will obviously be more constricted over what to be able to implement in the short amount of time the fans claim they have.

Games that take ages can (nd many times) become outdated or just not that great,games can be sucsessfull in a a short amount of time but this is a game about infinetly generated universe,character progression,imense Lore being developed,IT takes time,and the Devs have many a good idea to improve it,or do you doubt their competence?

Realy,whats the pint you seem to be missing?They have the skill,the resouces,now let them work at their own pace.

Asking for results isnt bad,but they have already shown you the results(You know,Ships,Ship A.I,complete Combat Overhaul,New structures,I believe better incorporation of dungeons into Mods,Multiplayer Server Comands,isnt that enough?),now,forcing someone to work faster or slower than their normal rythm is just idiotic if they are much more productive as they are.

Best example is JonTron and Pewdipie.JonTron is heavily edited,and with great quality but slow as Pewdipie is mainly daily uploads but lower quality,and I prefer JonTron any day of the week.

Its fine if you prefer the Pewwdipie method,but the Devs arent realy gonna hurry up just cause you say so,theyw ill go the method they wanta nd the mothod that has shown results,the curent one.

 

Fun fact: being a backer on Kickstarter doesn't make you an investor, it's just a risky pre-order of a product that may or may not ever be released.

Seriously, a lot of people don't understand the relationship between themselves and Kickstarter when they purchase. I'll give you an easy-to-understand example...

Last year, I dropped $25 on the Satellite Reign Kickstarter. Nothing special, just the normal preorder. Now, when I kickstarted that game, my rights were as follows:

• I am entitled to a digital copy of the game, access to the backer forums, and access to the backer wallpaper.
• I am entitled to literally nothing else. Shareholder meetings? God, no. Equity? No. Stock options? Nope. I pre-ordered a game and that is all.

Hopefully that makes it a little easier to understand for you.

 

wow, easy... i didn't say you weren't right, you are in fact right.
but there might be people out there who just throw 50-1000 bucks on a game on kickstarter without even thinking about playing it.
They just throw them their money because they think they could need it to develop a good game.

not saying there are or there are not, just saiyng there could be.


yet calling themselfs "investor" wouldn't be right! because they aren't really investors.
they get nothing out of it
