You're a funny guy if you think that this inane level of mediocrity will continue. The fact that some one has to bring this up as a general discussion thread screams "Hugbox" . Usually we have to wait for there to be a game out before we devolved into such shenanigans.

We need to find a way to castigate and make them feel unwanted if they act like assholes. We need to be super strict to these little pests. If you're gonna be counter-productive to the community, you do not deserve to be a part of it. You are unwelcome here. And they should be made to know as such.

 

Who's that going to stop? If they're just here to piss people off I doubt they're gonna care if they're unwanted

Sadron suggested we just make sure they realize they're unwanted, which most likely is exactly what they want
Why would we bother with that when we could simply ban them?

 

Someone recently left the forums after being somewhat of a person asking for trouble. The unwanted thing works.

 

So what qualifies as a "pest"? Anybody might do something accidentally annoying. Your whole attitude on the subject scream unnecessary hostility.

I completely agree, but we need to be welcome to new members, until we notice they are being bad. Otherwise most new people will feel unwelcome.

 

Well, looking at his past posts he never did anything to intentionally piss someone off
He was just calling out pointless threads, which nobody could blame him for considering how many there are on this forum

We shouldn't want to drive away people like this, that said nobody really did anything to make him feel unwanted, it seems like he just overreacted about something

 

From what I've read from him, it sure felt like he was intentionally trying to piss people off. Personal insults aimed at the dev team and anyone who disagreed with him? We don't need any of that here.

Well I can't seem to find the post I was thinking about. Either it was from somebody else or it was removed. But I know someone went to the point of calling Rho a terrible artist because they didn't like the animation.

 

Oh certainly, please don't misunderstand me. I welcome everyone as a blank slate. What they put on that slate will determine how I react and behave around them.
