Waypoints for planets

Would it be possible to add a mechanic that would allow us to save waypoints for specific planets we like on our ships computer or something ?

would really come in handy rather than us having to note down the coordinates every time we come across a useful planet

 

I would like this. Perhaps some kind of beacon device tied to individual players. You plant a beacon at an important location, and then you can view the beacons from the computer or possibly bring a handheld device that leads you to any beacon you have placed.

 

I was just going to suggest this exact same thing.

 

It would make keeping track of where you've been a lot easier.

 

i guess that to ,or you could just go into your navigation system on your ship and hit save coordinates or something like that

 

Alternatively some kind of personal log would do as well, but an actual menu of your favorite planets would be way more elegant.

 

I'm pretty sure that Tiy one mentioned a planet bookmarking system.
