Hello, I've unpacked the .pak file, and I've been looking through them to find a way to mess with the spawnrate of microdungeons, because I want more of them. Do I have to look elsewhere to modify the spawnrate of microdungeons, or can I find a way in the .pak file? My goal is to increase the spawnrate to the point where most of a planet or biome is covered in microdungeons. That way, I can turn scorched cities into real scorched cities, so they're basically endless ruins, instead of a couple of small towers every now and then after trekking through miles of sand. A way to change the spawnrate of microdungeons differently for different biomes or planet types would be preferable. I've already found how to change the number of dungeons spawning on each world size, via the terrestrial_worlds.config file, but I didn't find anything about microdungeons. I did find a way to change the secondary biomes of the scorched planets, so now I won't have my nice, sandy scorched city broken up by lava lakes and pitch black weirdo biomes. Instead, it'll be broken up by savannahs and deserts
Microdungeons are usually spawned in biomes. You can patch the .biome files in Starbound/assets/unpacked/biomes/surface. In the scorchedcity biome you should find this: Code: { "mode" : "floor", "priority" : 1, "variants" : 1, "distribution" : "/biomes/distributions.config:scorchedcityMicrodungeon", "type" : "microdungeon", "microdungeons" : [ "scorchedcitymicrodungeons" ] }, I believe this encompasses all the microdungeons that can spawn in the biome. There are 2 ways to increase spawning: increase the priority, or change the distribution from /biomes/distributions.config:scorchedcityMicrodungeon to /biomes/distributions.config:common or /biomes/distributions.config:superCommon. I would probably recommend the second one as it has a much greater effect. Additionally you can find all the possible biomes on scorched city planets in the terrestrial_worlds.config and repeat the above on whichever biomes you want.
