1st off, you really just need to be hired onto the Chucklefish staff and your stuff incorporated into vanilla.

Second, any chance you might look into adding a proper pipe organ?


That would be very sweet. I don't know if that is doable as I don't have the slightest idea how to do what you do. But considering how complex the pipe organs can be, I could see this request being unusually complex and difficult so I could definitely understand if you refuse such a task. Not that you are obligated to fulfill requests anyhow! I appreciate what you have done so far no matter if you go further or not.

You know what? I don't know whether or not it's going to work well but I'll go for it; but first I need to find a good balance between stop knobs, couplers and such; and create a versatile preset based on it. Translating dynamic instruments into Starbound is like a pain in the ass

That Pauline guitar should really be named "The Bass Machine", because seriously; that is one kickass bassline!
Really loving this mod!

 

Best Mod, DenouttaDen, 5 Stars, 140% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The only things I found a bit off were that the Burlesque and Ophech were a lot softer than the other instruments; the Ophisicle sounds like its far away.
Plus, it may be on my end, but the 2A03 Drums don't seem to work for me, the files are there, but it doesn't show up in-game.
The only other problem is that Starbound isn't on the same level as this mod.

 

Whoa, 140% on Rotten Tomatoes. That qualifies the Luthier as the best-movie-ever!

I'll normalize the volume of all instruments as soon as I can (I'll also check the 2A03. Have you tried to craft it using Tabula Rasa?). Thanks for your feedback

May I suggest adding a cheering or applause sample to the 2A03 Drum Kit? Something similar to the crowd from NES Punch-Out!!?

Well, I can actually, but there's a problem: the "crowd" effect is a whole patch inside the MIDI GM specification (126 - Applause) instead of being part of the standard MIDI drumkit map, on which the Starbound Drum Kit is based on (http://www.mindwaremusic.com/SoundsetterHelp/scr/Helpimages/GMDrums.jpg). If I sample it into the Cuica, for example, samba songs would sound like a soccer match! I could create a new instrument with that sound effect, tho.
