    I know what you mean.
    Even in cartoony games, it is possible to go beyond the limits of what's reasonably "cartoon-realistic." If things are too random/nonsensical your brain sort of gets annoyed and it just takes you out of the experience.

    Yeah... I think it's that I'm familiar with water, and I want to be able to engineer with it. I wouldn't mind if an alien substance behaved unexpectedly.
