Done! Was that fast enough? 30 minutes of render is what slows me down :p

Is it weird that I had a Starbound dream with water physics last night? Either I've been lurking here too much, or I'm psychic.. I'll go with the latter. Either way, this is amazing. :D I keep watching it over again to catch little details.. and to listen to that music.

    Great video. Nice music. =]

The blog post mentions evaporation, which makes me wonder if rain will actually add water to the ground it falls on.
    I hope so!

And powered pumps and tubes and sluices; buckets, bottles, and barrels...I wonder if it will be possible to freeze water by bringing it to a cold biome/planet.

The water physics are much like Terraria, it's a bit disappointing to me.
I must say the lighting is epic, and I'm sure there is much more to it than i actually saw. Either way, great engine.

I think its the blockiness that makes it look like the Terraria water. That should be changed.
    Tiy - "
The "Blocky" look to the water isn't final, the final pass will smooth that out

And the doors actually have more than 0 frames of animation, unlike Terraria xD They look a bit to small, though, wide-wise.

What do you mean "much like Terraria"?
If you mean the blocky water, they said they'll make it smooth before the game comes out. No block-like water.

This was worth the wait. Definitely.

And even having blocks, the blocks are smaller than the game's grid, unlike Terraria's water.
